5 Essential Types of Real Estate Videos to Boost Listings in Toronto & GTA
Welcome, and thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog post about the latest in real estate videography. As a videographer for properties in Niagara, Toronto and the GTA, I get many questions from realtors who know they should make video content. However, they don't know where to start and don't know what topics they should tackle. This blog post will provide you with five different types of content you can make to bring in new business.
Understanding why realtors need real estate video marketing can help agents appreciate the value of creating targeted video content for specific listings. So without further ado, let’s dive in!
Real Estate Videos about Market Updates
Market updates are pretty easy to make because of the simple fact that you get the information freely from your brokerage, especially regarding the current market trends. All you have to do is to set up the camera, lights, and microphone. Then you just need to read the information in front of the camera for your property video tour! If you don't want to take the time to edit, you can always send that footage to me! (shameless plug for our cinematic real estate videography)
Make sure you do more in your videos than just spouting out statistics. You want to break down the numbers, provide context, and want to give advice. These market updates are a great chance to demonstrate your expertise and show that you're carefully watching the market. It shows clients that you will be able to provide advice that builds their property wealth in the long run.
Property Owner and Client Interviews
Client interviews are one of the best realtor video ideas as they provide a chance to showcase your Toronto success stories through cinematic video tours. It shows the potential clients watching your video that you are an expert, that you care, and that you have their best interests at heart. If people are willing to get on camera and talk about a positive experience buying or selling property with you, well, there's just no substitute for that. You can also include drone footage alongside your client interview audio to better guide viewers.
Real Estate Mortgage Videos
If you’re a Toronto-Based realtor producing content, you should be providing some information about mortgages because, as you know, no real estate deal can happen if you can’t get financing.
You can answer all of your clients' frequently asked questions about property mortgages such as "What is the difference between a fixed rate or variable rate mortgage?" or "Should I go to the bank to get a mortgage, or should I work with a mortgage broker?"
This type of information is super helpful to your clients, as information about mortgages in the current real estate market can be quite complex. And they will be incredibly impressed if you provide that on YouTube. It will also save you time because you won't have to repeatedly explain those basic things over and over, you'll be able to say, and I get to say this all the time, "I've got a video on that!"
Realtor Property Investment Advice
These are the best real estate videos and they essentially tell people what they should be buying in terms of Toronto and Niagara property. What is the best thing to buy in the current estate market and why? Is it a condo? Is it a home? Is it a commercial property? This is your chance to break that down. Not only can you provide advice on where to buy and highlight some up-and-coming neighborhoods, but you can also help people build equity in their homes and property by recommending specific projects, renovations, upgrades, and things like that.
Realtor Transaction Tips
Finally, a realtor video that offers transaction tips for buying and selling in the 2024 real estate market is really going to save you a lot of time. Here, you can provide some tips and tricks that you're probably already constantly telling your buyers and sellers. You can talk about staging as well as home evaluations, home inspections, and all of that type of stuff. Not only are you saving a lot of time and not having to explain these concepts repeatedly, but you're also going to save yourself some headaches that come along with clients overlooking some of the fundamentals of property transactions.
Creating an impactful real estate video is just one part of a successful real estate marketing plan, which encompasses various strategies to engage potential buyers and sellers effectively.
